About Mishkan HaNefesh Dedicate a Book
  • Offers meaningful liturgy for both regular service attendees and those new to Jewish spirituality and practice.

  • Provides an accessible guide through the journey of t'shuvah (repentance) and cheshbon hanefesh (self-reflection).

  • Bridges the personal and the communal, the ritual and the ethical dimensions of Yamim HaNoraim.

  • New translations that capture the beauty of the Hebrew, contemporary poetry and alternative readings, original woodblock art by acclaimed artist Joel Shapiro.

During the High Holy Days of 2015, worship services in Levy Hall used Mishkan HaNefesh. This year Rabbis Bisno and Henry want to use the new machzor in our Sanctuary, too, so every member has access to a shared experience.

To do this, we need to purchase 700 two-volume sets. Help our Prayer and Practice Committee by sponsoring the purchase of Mishkan HaNefesh.

You can dedicate a personalized bookplate to remember a loved one, celebrate a life-cycle occasion, or honor clergy, family, and friends.
