Preparing To Visit  

Rodef Shalom Congregation is a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish community. We invite you to worship with us! Here's what to expect:

  • Casual attire is appropriate for family-friendly Tot Shabbat and L'Dor V'Dor services. Dress clothes are suggested for all other services.
  • You are welcome to sit anywhere. There is not gender-designated seating.
  • When entering the worship spaces, kipot or head coverings, are provided but are not required to enter.
  • Services are conducted in Hebrew and in English. English transliterations are provided for all of the Hebrew parts of the service.
  • Following Shabbat services, there is a kiddush or reception. Visitors are encouraged to join the congregation.
  • Children are welcome at all services. Child care is available for most services and adult education classes with advance registration. Contact JoAnn at (412) 621-6566 to make a reservation.
  • Rodef Shalom is fully handicapped accessible, meeting current ADA requirements.
