Dottie Silberman

As Development Director at Rodef Shalom, Dottie Silberman—with the help of our Board of Directors and membership—strives to keep our Congregation on firm financial footing. A sound fiscal foundation, she says, is essential to support the mission, vision, and goals of Rodef Shalom.

Dottie has long been deeply engaged with Pittsburgh’s Jewish community. For 15 years, she was a licensed representative with State of Israel Bonds. During that time, she assisted individuals and organizations to make wise financial decisions.

Dottie lives in Steubenville, Ohio, with her husband, Alan, and is a member of Temple Beth Israel. She has served on the Board of Directors of Beth Israel, the regional and national Sisterhood boards. The Silbermans are the parents of three daughters—Tracy Yitzhaky, Lindsey Isaacson, and Abbey Fagin—and have eight grandchildren.
