Teen Tuesdays are an opportunity for all teens to come to Temple, spend time with other teens, have fun, and engage in Jewish learning and conversation.
The evening begins at 5:30p with pizza dinner in the youth lounge. Classes follow from 6:30p-8:30p. For 8th-10th grade, class meet twice a month and the students have the opportunity to study with the Rabbi's and faculty members.
The curriculum this year is values based, with a strong emphasis on Social Action, debating challenging current event topics and an in-depth look at the choices people make. 11th and 12th graders are encouraged to participate in the weekly teaching certificate program which is held at Rodef Shalom and offered through the Jewish Site for Innovative Teen Education (J-SITE).
Pizza and lounge time are open to all 8-12th graders, regardless of enrollment status.
