Shabbat Shirah: Sabbath of Song

Shabbat Shirah is one of the few throughout the year that are given a name. The weekly Torah portion, Parshat Beshalach, includes Shirat Hayam, the song the Israelites sang as they crossed the Red Sea.

Our regular Erev Shabbat Service will be enhanced by special music prepared by Rowna Sutin and Don Megahan.

A travel blessing will also be given to those members who will make their way to Haiti during the following week.
