The library is on the first floor of the Temple, adjacent to the Commons Area. Within the Lippman Library are the Glick Children’s Library—for Preschool and Religious School students—and the Broff Youth Area, containing our young adult and reference collections. The Lippman Library also circulates the Kaplan-Lefkowitz video collection.
A schedule of library hours is posted weekly. The library is open to the public, but borrowing is limited to Rodef Shalom members and families enrolled in the Family Center Preschool.
The catalog for the Lippman and Glick Libraries can be found at Abraham Lippman Library Catalog. To use the catalog, login on the LibraryWorld opening page. Enter Lippman for the library name and click on login. You will then be connected to the catalog. Note: The circulation component has not been implemented, so all materials are listed as available. To determine availability, contact the library.
To check the availability of a book, place a book on reserve, or if you have any questions, contact the Librarian at (412) 621-6566, x179 or by email
