Gardens at Rodef Shalom Congregation

Rodef Shalom Congregation is proud of its gardens, especially the way they engage those of other faiths. The Biblical Botanical Garden, established in 1987, is the largest such garden in North America. Sitting on a third of an acre, the garden is the only one of its kind to feature an ongoing program of research and publication. The Edible Garden at Rodef Shalom, established in 2011 with a Union for Reform Judaism Incubator Grant, will bring to life the Jewish value of healthy, sustainable food choices, and strengthen the traditional Jewish connection between food and social responsibility.
